Hi there! I'm Jace. I'm the owner and artist of Azalea Nezu Photography, Makeup and Design. Art has always run through my veins since I was younger. I grew up in the country side of New York. I graduated high school early at the age of 16 and went straight to college. Although I didn't go to school for photography, it is what's kept me alive through the years. There is nothing like meeting someone new, or even taking a self portrait, and being able to capture a moment, or feeling, and know that you're leaving behind your story- you're opening up a piece of yourself to share with the world and maybe they can relate to it in some way.
Since college graduation I have traveled to 31 countries, working within the art world. It has always been my dream to travel the world, to explore and go on adventures. I can't tell you how much I appreciate my job as an artist because it has given me opportunities to meet so many wonderful people from all over the world and create with them something new and unique to who they are.
I'm not a big user of social media (for my photography) but I have made Facebook, Instagram and Google Review accounts for those who are interested.
With my work, I do a bit of everything. For my personal projects or special assignments I dabble on experimentation- whether it be smoke effects, fire, odd lighting, or emotive concepts. Over recent years I've been doing portraiture for clients, whether it be head shots, maternity shoots, home events- and even wedding, boudoir, to fine art nude.
I hold no discrimination toward anyone. When you choose to work with me, you're choosing someone who will not judge you no matter where you come from, how you look, who you choose to love, etc.
I find inspiration from the life I have lived and from the life I have yet to face, from the sound of laughter, to the hush of light rain and roaring thunder. I admire other artists and freelancers. I admire the people who follow their dreams. They motivate me continuously, they remind me to cherish everything I've worked so hard for. Although I take pride in my work, as it's taken me time to get to where I am, I will always have room to improve my skills. I will never think I am finished learning. I'm a proud supporter of other artists, some of whom are my dear friends. The constructive criticism, the late night talks of the uphill battles, they all hold a special place in my heart.
I hope you enjoy some images from my various portfolios here on my website.
Thank you again for taking the time to visit, and looking forward to one day working together!
A big thank you to all who have worked with me over the years. Thank you to my friends and family who have encouraged me to follow my happiness. I would be nothing without your continuous love, support, and friendship.
All the best,
